Hair and Makeup Trial Run Checklist

Preparation:


  • Book the Appointment:
    Schedule your trial run 4-6 weeks before your wedding day.


  • Research Inspiration:
    Gather images of hairstyles and makeup looks that you love. Consider different angles and lighting to show your artist.


  • Write Down Questions for your Consult with Your Artist:
    Discuss any specific concerns, preferences, or allergies with your hairstylist and makeup artist beforehand.


  • Skincare Routine:
    Follow a consistent skincare routine to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for your trial.


  • Hair Care Routine:
    Maintain healthy hair by using quality products and avoiding drastic changes in color or texture close to the trial date.


  • Confirm Details:
    Don't stress. We will confirm your trial run apt the day prior 




What to Bring:

  • Inspiration Images:
    Bring photos of hair and makeup styles you love.


  • Wedding Dress Photo:
    Have a photo of your wedding dress to help the artist match the style.


  • Veil and Hair Accessories:
    Bring your veil, hairpins, or any other accessories you plan to wear. If you would like to purchase these items from us, go to the the tab that says store and purchase your item at least 5 days prior to your trial run.


  • Jewelry:
    If you're wearing special jewelry, bring it along to see how it complements the overall look.


  • Bring makeup products you regularly use, only if if you have very sensitive skin or allergies.


  • Photos of Hair Length and Color:
    Share recent photos of your hair from different angles to give the stylist a clear idea of your current length and color.


  • Dress Code for the Trial:
    Wear a white or light-colored top to better visualize how the makeup will look with your wedding dress.


  • List of Questions:
    Prepare any questions you have about the hair and makeup process, products used, and touch-up recommendations.


  • Notebook and Pen:
    Take notes on any specific instructions or products recommended by your artist.


  • If you would like, bring A Trusted Friend or Family Member:
    Bring someone whose opinion you trust to provide feedback and support.


  • On the Day: Clean Face and Hair:
    Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face and washed, dry hair.


  • Be Honest:
    Provide honest feedback during the trial to ensure you achieve the look you desire.


  • We take Take Photos of your trail consult:
    We capture photos of your hair and makeup from various angles to review later. So don't be shy! You are the star of the show! 


  • Enjoy the Process:
    Relax and enjoy the experience. It’s an exciting step toward your big day!
